As recent Alums, my husband and I are well aware of the rigorous academic courses Holland Hall has to offer. Because of our Holland Hall education, we were well prepared for college and found we both often exceeded the expectations of college professors. I am confident my son will excel academically with the courses HH provides.
The transition from Holland Hall student to Holland Hall parent was different than anticipated. As young parents, my husband and I were worried we wouldn't fit the Holland Hall mold. However, this is far from the truth. To say the Holland Hall community is welcoming is an understatement. I have met the most involved, gracious, and hospitable parents and teachers whom make up this community. I feel that each member of this community strives to set a high standard of conduct.
I am comfortable leaving my son’s education in the hands of the impeccable professionals I have been surrounded by at Holland Hall. A song I learned in the primary school, that my son is about to learn as well, states that students should be, “friendly, helpful, respectful, and responsible.” I have yet to meet a student or parent that doesn't embody these principles.
The teachers we’ve had the privilege of working with are outstanding. I wish my son’s preschool teacher could continue with us next year because I think she is magnificent. However, I know this is a "problem" I will encounter yearly, and each time I will meet a new teacher that introduces my son to a novel realm of academia.
My son started Holland Hall in the fall of 2013, and as the end of the school year approaches, I have seen dramatic growth in his language development and intellectual skills. His teacher is loving, encouraging, and compassionate. She pushes my child daily to be the best preschooler he can be. With the small class sizes, the teacher is able to give my child the individual attention he needs as well as bring him into a small group setting and teach him how to cooperate with others. I love that he gets structure and routine, as well as the ability to explore art and indulge in pretend play.
Being a member of the Holland Hall community isn’t just making a commitment to your child’s education, it’s gaining a new family that will impact both you and your child in an even more positive way than you could possibly imagine.
Holland Hall is fantastic!!!!
We moved from out of state and after looking at all of the private schools in Tulsa, we knew where our children should attend school. The Holland Hall staff and community are friendly and helpful. This made our transition to HH very easy.
The curriculum is challenging. Class size is small and the students get individual attention. The school is preparing the children for the future. Assignments are online and regularly updated. The students are required to do group projects and oral presentations, preparing them for the real world. The school is hi-tech, students do research online.
Athletic programs are top notch with great coaches. The students are required to participate
in keeping with the philosophy of developing the whole person.
