Good food, lousy waitstaff.
Always delicious, this Zio's is nevertheless chronically handicapped by bar none the worst table service in Tulsa. Waitresses are commonly indifferent, inattentive, and incompetent. I would usually tip at least fifteen percent for a good meal regardless of the service, but when it's this bad, I can only make my feelings known by eliminating the tip altogether. I only ever return because my fiance' loves their Five-Cheese Fettucine.
Watch what you order at Zios.
This over crowded restaurant is over rated and lacks the depth of what true Italian food is. Although located in good spots around Tulsa this chain doesn't produce many true Italian dishes. The bread is bad. I got sick off of the shrimp salad and I will never go back. To summerize this extension of the pizzeria is over rated and I don't recommend it.
I have never been disappointed with the food, service or value. Large, delicious portions of everything from appetizers to desserts. Both restaurants are cozy and comfortable in the midst of apparent chaos - just like my childhood Italian home!
