Italian Let Down. Sunday at lunch ( I know bad timing, but...)no reason for bad food. There were four in our party but only one average meal. My son ordered the white alfredo pizza but received chicken alfredo instead! It was dry and the pasta was over cooked. Two orders of spaghetti and meatballs which was totally bland and cold. This lack of seasoning may be due to catering to families with children. Might as well go to Chucky Cheese. I ordered a new item, italian sausage crepes, which was average. Please no more chain restaurants for me.

Traditional dishes and all -you-can-eat salad, soup and bread sticks are the draw at this upscale-casual Italian restaurant.. In Short
Established in 1982, this chain gained a following for its laid-back atmosphere and generous portions. Patrons settle into comfortable booths and tables in dining rooms with plants, artwork and décor reminiscient of the villas in the Tuscan countryside. Starters include scampi, sausage or pepperoni pizza, and several soup choices, as well as a signature seafood dip (crab, shrimp, cheese and marinara). Entrees include classics like lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. There are also "Garden Fare" options, which promise 30 percent fewer calories.

Shameful. My family is Italian, and moving here was quite a culture shock. Thank goodness my relatives do not want to eat Italian food when they visit -- other than the Macaroni Grill, we would be hard-pressed to find a decent place to eat Italian food. The Olive Garden is the McDonalds of Italian food - the utter disregard for actual Italian recipes makes me so angry. Italians enjoy FLAVOR and NOT SPICE unlike the advertisements - and you certainly would not consider taking your relatives to eat the pathetic offerings that are passed off as "real" Italian cooking. GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!

This place is a joke. If you want real Italian food do not go to Olive Garden. If you want to eat semi-Italian food, the Garden is your place.

The thing about this place is that I could out cook any one these people. Although I don't think it is the cooks making the decisions. On the corporate ranks I believe these guys have their hands tied and simply aren't given the flexibility to create good Italian meals.

good food, good service. I'm from Houston. I ate at the Olive Garden because I just saw a commercial for the broccoli and chicken and some kin of pasta and it looked so good. I had that and the turning leaf merlot, which was also good. I ate at the bar which had a cute girl working it, which doesn't hurt if you're dining alone. I barely ate the main course as I was so full I was about to burst.
