Great place for all you Horchata fans.
I've been going to this place for about a year now and I love it. It is true authentic Mexican food and very inexpensive. I think Mexicnfdlvr is just use to eating taco bueno and such, which is bland.

All I can say is YUCK!.
Salsa is ok, not great, the food was dry and had no flavor. This restaurant is very inexpensive and the food quality is bad. I wouldn't serve my dogs the meat I was served. So if you like eating dog in Mexico, maybe you should try this place. It's also a tacky place with cheap tables and chairs.

LOVE ME SOME VERDE.
I love El Rio Verde. Some friends and I found it several years ago, but recently I have gotten a job downtown and is easy to get to from where I work. The burritos are great, the fajitas and fish tacos are good too. The only thing bad I have to say about the food is the salsa...it is not my favorite and I LOVE SALSA. Atleast this way I don't each much salsa and chips and actually save room for my meal. :)

Great food!!!.
It might be in the middle of a not so great neighborhood, but this restaurant is definitely worth a try if you like mexican food. I just found out about it recently and have frequented it ever since. They do need more tables though, considering each time i have been there, there were people standing at the door waiting for a table to open up. Give this restaurant a try...I think you'll be glad you did.

What a Great Find!!.
For the third time I have eaten here. Thursday night May 4th, 2006 we took a friend with us. The value for the money was great 22 bucks for all three of us to eat. I recommend the wet burrito excellent flavor of the sauce and cheese plus no onion was a plus for me. It's easy to get too take 244 get off Utica exit go north to admiral which is first road to left off interstate turn right on trenton you see restaurant from stop sign not a great parking lot holes and mud lately but the food is fabulous

A Great Hole in the Wall.
This place really surprised me. It was so much better than the greasy taquitos and cheese enchiladas that you order at more "trendy" or "americanized" mexican restaurants. I had the veggie burrito and it was delicious! There were mushrooms, squash, tomatoes, (no beans, I was a little disappointed), onions, and cheese. I could not believe the selection on the menu when we went in. I'm sure it must be family owned, and the tacky decorations just add to the "south of the border" atmosphere. Don't be afraid to go off the beaten path for this little low-budget venue. It is worth the drive! My only complaint - the waitress would never bring us the bill.

NOT "TEX MEX".
This Mexican food is so outstanding it makes you regret all the time you spent eating "Tex Mex". THEIR BLENDING OF SPICES IS BEYOND BELIEF. EVERYTHING they have is EXTRAORDINARY, from breakfast to dinner. How about a shrimp tostado? How about a veggie burrito? How about a Cajun chicken taco? How about a chicken artichoke burrito. This place personifies the statement "serve good food and they will come". Everything is exceptionally good. We eat there about four times a week!!! It defies the statement "location, location". GREAT FOOD!!! Get something you don't see on the Tex Mex menues!!!
