Caught off guard.... Was excited to try this place after seeing it for quite some time. However, our experience was not a good one! We never got to eat because we walked out after telling the owner what we felt about the up-charge ($2.00) for sharing a meal! There was no lunch menu and all of the meals were way over priced for Mexican food. Average $8.00 per plate!! My husbnd and I share almost every time we go out to eat and have never encountered this!! There are to many options in Tulsa to ever go back there!!!

Drastic decline in food quality. I first went to El Rancho Grande probably around 1973 and for many years thereafter it was high on my family's list of resturaunts. I am sorry to say however, that my visit of 9/25/2010 was very disappointing. There was a lot of good stuff like the dinning room itself is in great shape, the service is freindly and good and the appetizers are simple and tastey. My problem was with the dinner (# 1) that I bought. It was terrible. Tasted and looked like it came from the frozen food section at Wal-Mart. The chicken in the taco was clearly from a can, the beans were soupy and tasteless and the rice ...

I hate to have to write this but I hope the current management takes heed and thinks about putting the quality back into the food. I won't be going back.

Very Good. The Food is great, Margarita's are great, beer is cold.

Wait staff very attentive.

I have been going here off and on since the 80's. Took my new husband on his birthday. Now we go back at least once a month. He loves it.

Best Tex Mex in Tulsa. It's the best Tex Mex in Tulsa. Exceptional service. I highly recommend the sour cream chicken enchiladas, my favorite.
