Really Good Pizza
by redbird08
Great surprise near my new house in midtown tulsa. We were really tired and hungry from moving, so i called up this place and asked for the largest pizza they had. The price was $24 for my pizza which had lots of toppings, and it was a huge 22 inch pie. Absolutely delicious pizza and I will be happy to frequent this place often.
- Pros: Great and Authentic New York Pizza in Tulsa!
- Cons: only if you don't like ny style pie
Kickass (and inexpensive) pizza!!!

A friend told me about Umberto's Pizza. I ordered delivery a couple months ago... I exclusively order ONLY Umberto's from home now. I love their no-nonsense way of taking delivery orders. BTW, I don't recall EVER being put on hold... no stupid computer searches for where I live... NO HASSLE! NO CALLING CENTER!
Pick up your phone and dial 712-1999 right now. This pizza is better than Hideaway and Joe Momma's - and they DELIVER!!! Affordable... great pizza... yes - the garlic knots are a must-order.
Do it... order Umberto's... support a great local biz... Pizza Hut, Papa John's, and Mazzio's can suckit!
The only "con" is that they aren't online... so no looking at a menu. I'm sure they'll accomodate whatever you want, though. I've never had them say "we don't have that." (I mean, really... it's pizza, right?)
712-1999 - Best Pizza in T-Town!!
And, NO, I don't work for them. ;-)
I'm just a highly appreciative and satisfied customer.
- Pros: Affordable, LOCAL, tastey... no BS on the phone :-)
- Cons: no website? (not a big deal)
Best Pizza and Worth the Crowd
by jcjackso
In a world of chain pizza "parlors," Umberto's is a true haven for pizza pie lovers. The tiny restaurant will only hold a handful of customers, but the crowded scene only adds to the allure of the restaurant. The building is well kept, though in a small somewhat older area, and the staff is numerous and helpful. I have only visited once but that will definitely not be the last time I pick up pizza from Umberto's. The only disappointment: I didn't have a friendly, chubby Italian Zio Umberto to greet me!
- Pros: Excellent Food, Inexpensive, Great Ambience
- Cons: Limited Parking
