Ok steaks in OK..
I ate at McGill's for dinner with five business associates last night. Nice decor. Our appetizers were the escargot (not bad), the shrimp cocktail (standard), and the baked brie (way too much fruit). The onion soup was pretty good, and the salads were what you would typically expect. Everyone tried some sort of steak. My filet was fine, the garlic mashed potatoes were good, the side of vegetables was drowned in butter. The prime rib was enormous. The menu is generally limited to steaks & seafood. Service was a little slow. The wine list was average in selection and price. This place was not bad, but I wouldn't make a special trip to go there again.
Great place to eat. It's owned by a friend of mine, i've eaten there quite a bit, but i'm not writing this for him, he does well enough already. Great Food, Great Service, Cosy Bar. High class people eat and drink at this place, but not snotty, or trash. Nice crowd for happy hour and the resturant is multi faceted. Get the escargot if they got it.
