Total ripoff. $7.50 for electric guitar strings? Gimme a break.
Allparts parts at nearly retail.......check ebay first. SLOW repairs. Ridiculous pricing.
Dave can make anything work. I've taken some strange stuff to these guys, and they've done amazing things. To wit: Rhodes Chroma synth, circa 1982 -- the first fully digitally controlled analog synth. Dave was its doctor for years. A recent example: An ARP 2600 modular synth -- the real deal, circa 1972. Dave had his hands full, but, finally, it's in virtually original condition. The pricing is more than fair, and it's a small miracle that they can find all these rare parts and can fix all this legacy gear. [APPLAUSE]
Tulsa Guitar & Electronics Performance. Tulsa Guitar & Electronics is the only authoriized/certified Fender Guitar repair shop in the Tulsa area. They are or seem to be always busy but have always taken the time to explain what, how and why they are going to do to your e.g., guitar when you bring it in for repair, maintenance, or to just get a professional 2nd opinion when you think something is wrong or doesn't sound right to you. I probably ttake in my guitars 4 - 5 times/year to tryout/checkout a pickup which they professionally install and answer most all of my hypothetical questions re: my intonation, frets, hum/noise, string recommendations and even perform minor repairs or make alterations for me when they have the time, no charge, time allowing. I have been using them for not just my Fender Guitars but many others as well as different amplifiers for about the past +/- 5 years and have only had one minor disappointment, but for the most part they give an accurate estimate of time to complete the task and rarely exceed their cost estimate. Maybe if there were a second Fender repair shop they would be so busy or take so long, but I doubt if another Fender Cert. Luthier could do a much better, quicker repair or take the time to be as thorough in repairing your guitar, treating it as if it were his own, in my humble opinion. KEEP UP THE GOOD QUALITY AND THOROUGH WORK !
Great Experience. They performed a set up on my Breedlove acoustic electric and were estimating a week's time. It was completed within 5 days and for a little less than they quoted.
don't go here. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They are extremely slow. They lost my ticket for my amp repair and it took them almost two months to just to change the tubes out. Wouldn't even take responsibility for their screw up. Again i would not go here for repair unless you want your amp to be misplaced and not get it back until you call them up and beg them to get around and fix it.
