Billy Ray's Bar-B-Q & Catfish. after reading what dbushell said about the cockroaches, i will never eat there again, which is not too much of a loss. It is hard to find a good BBQ place in Tulsa. We just ate at Billy Ray's last week, and it was just average, the waitress was a little cockeyed, just kept talking and talking and talking....geez....thinking, "get away from our table".... There are a couple places in Tulsa that are good, Elmers, It Be Bad, they have a good "badwich" for 8.95 and it has 3 meats, i have actually had some to take home. The other is Stutts up in north Tulsa, I actually think that no one can really compare to them. Unfortunately for Tulsans, the best BBQ i have ever ever tasted was in a small BBQ place in Paris, Texas.....I just think that Tulsa has simply forgot how to make BBQ.
cockroaches. It was Saturday 10/30/2010 about 4:15 I order a plate with 2 ribs as I was sitting there a cock roach crawled out of the plate they just brought me. I called the waitress she seen and told me they knew they had a problem and had been spraying but nothing is helping. The manager came over and told my husband the samething. As I was in the bathroom throwing my guts out she actually asked my husband if we wanted our food to go. Can you even imagine wanting the food after that. At no time did anyone even say they were sorry!!! GROSS GROSS GROSS!!!!
