Service!!!.
There food is good.
But on this day the service and the food was the best!
For some reason or another my ticket was lost. People who came
atfer me was in and out . When I asked about my order I was told it should
be up next. Then com to find out my ticket was never hung. So I was there
waiting a an hour for nothing. when I spoke with someone else he had it out to me
in a matter of minutes. But when I got it home it was cold! I only lived a few blocks so it should
not have been cold. So with the poor service I received from them I will NEVER spend my money there.
I know a lot of you will say get over it but when I pay for a service I want the best!!!
amazing bbq & wonderful service. I love Elmers. We are new to Tulsa and somehow Elmers feels like home. The owner is super nice and will make time to talk with you, the staff is also super friendly. My favorites are the polish sausage, the smoked salmon and the cobbler. You will love it here--- so friendly and so delicious!
STILL the best anywhere. I agree with Big Daddy about the food; this is BBQ as it should be. Tender, smoky brisket, killer sausages, Tulsa's BEST green beans (with pieces of rib and onion in them!)... and the best sauces on the planet. The service has become as good as the food since an ownership change a few years ago.
Love the Badwich!. First let me say I haven't been to Elmer's in several years so my review is based on when I used to live in Tulsa. I loved the Badwich. It gives you a sample of hot link, ribs, chopped brisket and bologna. The parking lot is very small and the restaurant is plain at best but it's worth your time for the 'que. The only downside is they used to have a waitress there who was surly at best. Haven't been there in awhile so I don't know if she is still there.
good stuff if your in Tulsa OK.
had the beef dinner husband had the three meat dinner...first time.
second time take out same meal. asked for bones for my dogs...got that too.

Always The Best. No matter what time of day or night, Elmer's is the place to go for great Bar-B-Que. They smoke it just right, there are 3 sauces for those that do. It's nothing fancy, but with food this good, who cares? OH! And they will wrap the whole thing up in a "to go" box for you and you can eat at home (start in the car on the way home) - for days. The portions are very generous. Okay for kids of all ages who like to eat with their elbows on the tale and lick their fingers. It's okay here. Soda pop, iced tea and beer. Who could want more?
"It Be Bad". I have been going to Elmers for the past 17 1/2 years and never ordered anything but the "Badwich". Elmer's three sauces are awesome. I loved the mixed. Nothing is like setting down to Badwich and cold drink at Elmers.
Badwich. Badwich says it all. A great place for BBQ. Of course anything on Brookside is going to be full of the people that think they are in the Tulsa "Hip Scene". The BBQ is great but not my absolute favorite.
Deliciouso. WOW - great food, especially the humongous ribs!! The sauce is superb, and the brisket is out of this world. What a little gem in an out-of-the-way place. The value is exceptional, and really worth the trip. Have used the "take-out" service many, many times and find it very handy. The side dishes are not too exciting, but that is a small complaint. Overall, Elmer's is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
