I'll go to Fellers
by J J K at Citysearch
I have been going to Fellers Auto Specialist for about 7 years. Before that I went to the dealership for repairs. The dealership did the work they were trained to do. No problem there.
The big difference is Tom and his staff talk to you and let you know what the diagnosed problem is, discuss any options in terms of parts and their prices, reliability of the different manufacturers of those parts and the price that can be afforded.
If I ever had any questions, I could talk to the mechanic that was doing the work to my car and expect an honest answer.
My car is 11 years old and Tom knows that I have to watch my money. He suggests what needs to be done and what can wait.
The main point here is that Fellers has done some of the same work on my car as the dealership, and Fellers has saved me money, given me options for parts and prices, let me talk directly to the men doing the diagnostics and work and the quality has been as good and better than the dealership.
Dealership repair is ok when your car is under warranty, but Fellers over the years has proved itself to be knowledgable and honest, keeping my car roadworthy without breaking my bank.
