All around good food and one of the best mexican restaurants in Tulsa!. They use fresh ingredients, have a large menu, and serve up some delicious food. The margaritas aren't half bad either :)

Awesome!.
I am actually reviewing the Owasso location but I couldn't find it anywhere.
When I first went in I was expecting an average mexican resteraunt, but I was pleasently surprised. The service is fast, and the waiters are really friendly. Right when you sit down they bring you hot, fresh chips and salsa. I ordered the echadallas (sp?) and they were GREAT! The cheese is definently the best. The queso is really good too. The prices are really cheap too. They have TV's everywhere, usually playing sports.
The best Mexican resteraunt I have ever been too.

The BEST Mexican food in Tulsa. I have taken several friends and business associates to El Tequila since discovering it a little over 3 years ago. Authentic enough to taste good (sans the "Tex Mex" taste) but AMERICAN enough to taste delicious. I usually have the Steak Cheese Burrito, it's a hefty homemade flour tortilla generously filled with seasoned steak and the cheese is to die for (it's taste is better or comparable to Velveeta, however, this cheese is thinner and not so "overwhelming". Prices are EXTREMELY reasonable, a couple can eat for under $20, with maragritas under $30. Also, try the Flan for dessert (enough for 2 people to share 1 serving) ENJOY :)
