Best Teppanyaki in the US.. Order the Osaka house with Fried Rice. We eat here at least once a week and have been regulars since 2005. The 51st street location was a little more cozy and had a much better atmosphere. The only advantage to the 81st street location is the addition of Sushi to the menu. The Graduation Roll is awesome. The new location definately leaves something to be desired in the service department. Basically if you don't have reservations, the service is horrible at best, but the food is well worth it. As with any real teppanyaki place the cook makes a difference, but overall the cooks are very good. Having lived in Japan for 4 years I have a lot of experience with Japanese food and sushi. I have tried all the normal locations in most major cities across the US and have found none better than Osaka. Try it now.
