"Does your son have mental problems?!)"

The place is beautiful. The hygienist and front desk clerks are friendly and the dentist was cordial with my daughter. However, his frustration with my son overrode his professionalism when he couldn't get him to cooperate. My six year old boy, who had a tonsillectomy a year previously, was quite scared of going to the dentist. I warned all there that we probably wouldn't get too far but wanted to ease him back into going. When the dentist couldn't get him to do what he wanted he blurted out (in front of my son!), "Does your son have mental problems?!)"
