Jerry should not be practicing as a parenting coordinator. He steps beyond the scope of a PC as defined in the Oklahoma Statutes. When questioned about it he seems to think he is well within his right and it is the parents problem. He does not make decisions based on the best interest of the children. He sends false information to judges by omiting information in his reports. There should be a way to legally address this. He has quasi-immunity by Oklahoma statutes but does that mean total immunity. I'm not an attorney, but by definition I would think that he has immunity as long as he follows the rule. Jerry does not follow the rules. Oklahoma Bar Association step up to the plate and remove this mans license! Protect the people of Oklahoma!

My husband and I are victims of Perigo as well. He was originally appointed to our case for one year and at the first session, Perigo stated he liked to communicate by email, my husband's work is not in an office, he has limited access to his phone and no access to a computer during his work day, Perigo told him he WOULD have an email address and communicate via email because that was his preferrence and he could sit around in his boxers and read at his leisure. During the course of the session, Perigo told a story that his own son had sex at the age of 14 with a 21 year old and I'm still wondering why he felt the need to share this.

At our last court date, Perigo was reprimanded on the stand by the judge for overstepping his authority (BIG SURPRISE) and in the new order it was explained what he was allowed to do. Changing what the judge has ordered is NOT on that list, yet he has told the biological mother she does not have to inform the father of any activity their child is involved in, a direct violation of the court order and he continues to get away with that.

I'm not sure if the relationship between the biological mother and Perigo has gone further than professional, but he only sees her side of every "issue". How he continues to practice law is beyond belief!

As another victim has stated, what goes on in the sessions are nothing like what his reports state. We record all sessions as proof that his reports are lies and half truths. We would like for more people to know what this scumbag is doing to our children.

My husband and I are inclined to believe he might have been a child who was picked on at school and never received help to deal with those feelings and now feels powerful by treating families already in emotional turmoil as if they are beneath him.

Perigo has made fun of my husband's grammar, his parenting ability and has threatened to have me removed from the home while our son is visiting.



If we can get a class action lawsuit together, maybe we can send Perigo back under the rock he crawled from.

No Way Out. Don't ever get involved with this person. When your attorney recommends him so that his attorney standing in the community goes up, remember it will be your life and kids that will be sacrificed. Jerry is the dirty little secret that no one talks about even though everyone in the courthouse knows. Most likely if you are looking at this, you should be wise enough to pick someone else. Everything written here on this site negatively about Jerry is true. I have years and years of experience and can testify that the judges give him more credit than he is due as he is a sitting city judge still. He seems like a good guy but that is far from reality. Run run run. To be clear, you are going to see some great reviews here but if you interview the opposite parent, it is very very very unlikely that the review will be as good. You see some parents need a guy like Jerry to help them do their dirty work. By default, they love Jerry Perigo and his professional friends.

I find it very interesting.... There is a website (familiesintransition with a dot com on the end) that is apparently published by Tulsa County that lists the Parent Coordinators that have "met the professional requirements to serve as a Parent Coordinator". I note that Jerry Perigo is not included on this list. That begs the question "WHY"? Perhaps Tulsa County finally realized this man's psychological pathology and has revoked his priviledges? And if that's the case, my next question is, "why does the man still have clients (or more appropriately "victims"?) which apparently he must since negative reviews of his shady business practices continue to flood the internet routinely.

Another interesting observation is that if you do a google search on every Tulsa parenting coordinator that IS on the Tulsa County "approved list" (and I searched all 18 of them) you would find that NOT ONE of those professionals have received a SINGLE bad review of their business practice. How many does Perigo have? 22 or so? Just wanted to point this out in case there's still some naive soul out there that would consider allowing Jerry Perigo to have ANY say in their family matters.

We fought to get rid of Perigo several years ago and thankfully won our case. I commend the people out there that are working to protect others from his blatant and arrogant abuse by filing official grievances against him. I would love to see an update of how that is going.

As far as offering ratings on this man, where is the mark for ZERO stars? 1 star is pathetically insufficient to express the depth of BADNESS for this partical "professional" (term used VERY loosely).

Grateful for this man's assistance. I’ve never had any problems with this PC. He has been fair and clearly speaks what is expected from both parties. He is approachable and my little girl has gone to speak with him many times and is never intimidated or upset. He has done nothing but look out for the best interest of her.

Help us file a Judicial Complaint against this Vermin. We too have experienced the worst of human kind from this vile sociopath. He cares nothing about children, and puts them in dangerous situations. He makes threats. He lies in his reports to the court. He makes decisions based on his financial betterment.

I hate Jerry Perigo. My parents went to jerry Perigoo. We wanted to live with our father but he took us in his office and made us feel like criminals or something for not wanting to live with our mother. Hedidn't care what it was like at her house he's not the one that has to listen to her screaming all the time. All she cares about are her dumb boyfriends anyway. Even a shrink said we r better off with our dad and stepmom. I'm old enough to make my own decision now and as soon as I can I'm gonna go tell the judge what its like living with my mom Jerry Perigo is a stupid idiot and it makes me wanna puke that he gets paid for being so stupid!!

Met my expectations.. There are allot of bad reviews about Jerry, but I’ve never had any problems with this PC. He has been fair, and has done nothing but look out for the best interest of my children. I make no assumptions on behave of the other commenter’s, as I do not know their situations. But I can vouch for my own experience. Jerry is upfront, and makes his role in your case clearly known. Each parent is informed of the possible ramifications if the basic parenting rules are not followed, so everyone will know what to expect if they cross the line. As long as you are not alienating, or physically / mentally abusing your kids, you won't have any problems. This PC does not play well with manipulators who try to confuse the facts. This PC is NOT a tool for manipulating your ex, or getting “what you want”. This PC gives you what is best for your children within his means, as defined by our legal system. Coming from a dissolved abusive relationship, continued abuse toward my kids is my #1 concern. Jerry has helped our family and I recommend him.

Beware! This man is a snake in the grass!. When we hired Perigo, we were under the assumption that he would be honest and truly looking out for the best interest of the children. His reports bear no resemblance to what actually takes place in his office. Perhaps as the previous poster stated, our opponent bought him off. What else would explain why he writes reports that have no basis in fact? We started secretly recording the sessions with him so we would have proof of his lies and suggest that if you are stuck with him, to do the same thing. Perigo is someone whose perceived power has gone to his head. He wants you to believe that he has the power to destroy your life. (He doesn't!) Over the years that we had him "trying" to play God in our family, we have gotten to know several high ranking officals in the legal community socially. We hear the same thing over and over -- that EVERYONE in the legal community, (lawyers, judges, other PC's) know that Perigo is huge problem but nobody knows what to do about him because he has immunity. One judge friend of ours told us that Perigo has a Napolean complex and that any time he perceives someone as smarter, better looking, taller, more powerful, etc., he gets his jollies by trying to elevate himself above that person and make their life hell. We were also told that Perigo is held up as THE example when training PC's of what NOT TO BE. Perigo was even told this and not only doesn't deny it, he thinks its funny that he gets by with his abusiveness.

So if you are in the market for an honest PC (meaning you don't intend to buy the scumbag) run, don't walk in the opposite direction from this lunatic.

If you've already been ensnaired by this tyrant, here's what Perigo doesn't want you to know: you don't HAVE to keep him. You can get out from his dictatorship by simply going to court and challenging his pile of lies. (Record him!) Request an HONEST PC. Perigo and the side that bought him off will fight you on it, but this is where the judges CAN do something and will send him slithering back under the rock from whence he came.

Jerry Perigo Should Be Disbarred. Four letter words and obscenities fail to describe Jerry Perigo. He is a corrupt, parasitic, meal ticket, attorney/parenting co-ordinator and a venal, disturbed creep, who is utterly incapable of earning an honest living.

He will lie, cheat and steal with impunity, all under the intentional neglegence of the Tulsa County Family Court System. If you're not buying him, you can be absolutely assured that the other side is. Either way, you, your estranged spouse and your minor children will be damaged by his presence.

The majority of the gay community are kind, honorable individuals; and a blessing to society. Unlike the majority, Jerry is an embarassment to them and any other group to which he claims membership.

Unlike George Bailey, it would be better if this pathetically twisted spook had never been born. The best we can all hope for now is an expeditious, inexpensive end to this sewer dweller's inexcusable existence.
