Very Good Pizza

Great pizza and a very nice Chicago bar as well. I have never had a problem with service either. Best pizza in town in my opinion.

Worst service and management ever

After visiting Savastano's I will never return. It took 40 min. to receive my appetizer which was less than appealing when it arrived. Told the person in charge, said they would remove it from the bill. Pizza arrived with paper inside of it. Was told it was the ticket from sitting on the tray, but that they would take it off the bill. (It was not the ticket, it was INSIDE the pizza between the crust and topping. Did not take it off the bill. When questioned about the bill, the "manager" grabbed the pizza in the to go box (which I did not ask for the box) & ticket and stormed off. I paid for the drinks and salad. As I was leaving the "manager", whom I had been told earlier in the evening was not there, ran down the stairs SCREAMING at me and in the end told me to "go to hell". Not very impressive for managment or "owner" as she claimed. I would never eat there again after this experience. If I had been a patron that night watching this unfold, as many did, I would also never return if this is how they treat their customers. I only gave it one star because this website required that I give it a rating. I would really give it NO star.

Excellent Chicago-Style Pizza

Being a NY-style fan, I thought I'd try this. It's a bit different, if you like pie, this is very good. They make their own sausage, which tastes great!

The real deal

As a windy city native, I know great pizza and have been forced to settle for national branded knockoffs, until now. People ask me, what makes Chicago style pizza so great? Now I only need one word to describe it: Savastano's. From the right spices, to the sauce, crust texture, and fresh toppings, this is the real deal. Over the past year, I've not found a more authentic pie than this one outside the city limits. It's the great taste of Chicago without all the traffic. If you're a pizza connisseur like myself, this one is a must taste.

Best pizza crust and sauce

Awesome pizza!! You can really tell that they use only the freshest ingredients, and the sauce is perfect, not too much tomato or acidic. The crust is so good, we usually save the crust to dip in honey! They do have sandwiches and salads, but they are only mediocre.
- Pros: Good family owned service and quality
- Cons: No delivery,not recommended for large groups, tables are limited
